'I though that which goes up must come down?' from Anton Jawdokimov on Vimeo.
'I thought what goes up must come down?' is a video installation that combines an audio illusion, the 'shepherd tone', with a visual illusion, the 'penrose staircase' to create something that rises indefinitely. Several classmates felt faint and nauseous (probably hungover) after watching this for a while.'How long is now?' interactive sound installation from Anton Jawdokimov on Vimeo.
'How long is now?' PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE and all 6 possible orders of these words are manipulated by the viewer through hand gestures. Questioning the nature of time, perhaps past present and future affects and feedbacks through itself, perhaps it moves in 6 directions depending on our subjective act of observation at the present moment? does time even exist? is 'now' the same for everyone? perhaps it's just the causality of physics, its just stuff happening... Do you know what time is?
